General Guidelines for Parents/ Guardian

1.The school believes in firmness and perfect discipline.Disobedience and disregard of rules

must be avoided and any work or action likely to lower the image of the school is regarded as a breach of the school disciplines.


2.Parents/ guardians are requested to co-operate in this regard and follow the guidelines

given below:-

They should inform the school if there is any change in their address or telephone

numbers.

A child, when sick, should not be sent to school. Short leave will not be granted except

in case of exigency.

Application (with Medical certificate) for grant of leave, if sick, must be submitted in time

in the school to the concerned authority.

If there is any legitimate complaint, please meet the Principal, during:-

VISITING HOURS: 10 a.m. to 11.30 a.m.

The name, class and section should be clearly marked on the belongings of the child.
It is compulsory for parents to come to school on Parents Teacher Meet.

Parents are advised to co-operate with the school in its attempt to help their ward’s

progress by paying attention to their regularity, punctuality and discipline and by taking interest in their HOME WORK/ PROJECTS.

To develop fluency in English, the parents/ guardians are requested to always

encourage their children to converse in English at home also.

Learning Process

REAL EDUCATION IS TEACHING BEYOND TEXT BOOKS.

R D Public Sr. Sec. School believes in the philosophy of Learning with Doing and strongly advocates the 'Learning' that goes beyond the four walls of classroom which makes the student accept every kind of challenge boldly. The practical approach not only rejuvenates a student but even empowers him /her with new skills and improves his ability to work .The mental horizons of the students are broadened by focusing on learning with nature, by incorporating field trips and by providing them ample opportunities to nurture their talents. Various excursions are undertaken to give exposure to the students at physical, mental, ethical and cultural level .The school also focuses on relieving the stress of peer & parental pressure by bridging the gap between the teacher and student. The school has emerged as a pace setter in fostering all round development of the students by adopting practical approach not only to scholastic areas but also to non-scholastic domain.

Profile of Students

  • They must lend a helping hand at home to their parents, brothers and sisters and in the school to their teachers, school mates and visitors, they meet in the school premises and outside.

    Regularity of Attendance
  • Every student should cover a minimum of 75% attendance for each term.
  • Students are accountable to the school authorities for their behaviour both in school and out of school, particularly when they are in their school uniform.
  • Absence
  • Leave of absence is granted on a written application from parents or guardians but only for serious reasons.
  • If any student absents herself for more than a week without intimating the school about the reason for absence, her name will be struck off the roll.

    Order and Silence
  • Special care must be taken by teachers and pupils to maintain an atmosphere of silence and serious work during class hours.
  • Cleanliness is a prerequisite of order and is, therefore, a must. A standard of excellence is what we should attempt to maintain.
  • The school expects every girl to maintain excellence in standards.
  • The school strictly prohibits students from buying snacks from hawkers outside the gate.
  • The students are not permitted to carry or use mobile phones and iPods in school.
